The Embassy of Ghana in Algeria accredited to Tunisia, on the occasion of the Africa Union Day joined several African Missions and dignitaries from other countries, to celebrate the special day on 24th May, 2026, at the Ministry of Culture in Algiers. The event brought together in one space various cultures across Africa. The Ghana Mission featured prominently through the marketing of made-in-Ghana products ranging from foods to beauty, artifacts and apparel.

In addition, the Ghana Mission displayed and served sumptuous meals representing the much-loved Ghanaian cuisine to the delight of participants at the celebration grounds. In thanking the Minister of Culture and Arts, Malika Bendouada, the Secretary of State to the Minister of Foreign Affairs in charge of National Community Abroad, Chaib Sofiane, the Ghana Mission extends its appreciation to colleague African Heads of Missions in Algeria and the entire diplomatic community for a great celebration of African solidarity and rich heritage.
